YEAR-END WRAP-UP: Bookshelf, Book Haul, & Booksigning Events

2016 is the year I started to hoard, read, and sniff books again so before this year ends, I’m going to share with you some photos of my first bookshelf, the titles I have bought/received and read as well as the list of the book-related events I participated in within this 12-month period. I’m not going to include reviews of each book and the account of my bookish experiences because I don’t have much time and I don’t want this post to be too long. But don’t worry, those will be out soon! 🙂

YEAR END WRAP UP (2016): Bookshelf, bookhaul, and booksigning events

 MY FIRST BOOKSHELF

Last February, my good mother perceived my intense need for a bookshelf because the number of books I own was slowly increasing so we went out to buy one. My first bookshelf is not expensive at all but I think it can house the books I will be buying in the future.

My cat got extremely excited the moment it arrived that he immediately hopped on it. He must’ve thought he was a book for a second. Lol.

My siblings helped me arrange the books and gods, when we finished, we stared at the view and it was astounding!

 2016 BOOK HAUL

Since I just started blogging this December, the last month of the year, I’m going to show you the entirety of my book collection instead of showing you my monthly book hauls.

Here’s the photo pool of the books I purchased this year. I know these are not as many as others’ but that will suffice for now.

  1. Oh my GOSH! As a reader, those books gave me a nerdgasm! I’ve read quite a few of them. And your cat goes perfectly well with the bookshelf 😛
    The bookshelf looks exquisite👌

  2. Wow! You and my daughter will get along pretty well.
She has way too many books in her bedroom. I had to give her an e-reader and an iPad so she can just read some of these from it and hopefully there would be less paper to gather dust on her shelves.

      1. For real. But I can’t blame her… the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. I have read some of your books, too… esp. the classics, Jane Austen and Emily Bronte.
Now I’m more into the Self Help, New Age stuff… reading more of Deepak, Dr. Dyer, Eckhart, Don Miguel Ruiz, P. Coelho, etc.
